Video games are for everyone.
In May 2019 Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, wrote in a blog post ‘gaming is for everyone’.
It’s something we passionately believe here at For All The Players. Video games are not in the sole purview of any single group or demographic. Video games are for everyone, and 2.6 billion people play them. All ages, all genders, all orientations, all abilities. From all countries and of every colour, people come together to play, for every reason imaginable.
We’ll bring you gaming news, views, and reviews from across gaming culture and we’ll try to help you find more of the same from other diverse voices across the landscape.
And we really do mean games are for everyone, so no matter what platform you play on, you’re welcome here. Playing games on a five grand gaming PC to and playing a round of Bejeweled on your phone on the morning commute (not that many of us are commuting right now) are of equal worth in our eyes. If you play video games then hello, we’re here for you.
Gripped in a global pandemic, the world is a strange and scary place right now. All over the world people are finding solace, meaning and connection through games, and that’s wonderful.
Video games really are a unifying force for the world.
Come play with us.
